File description missing for Commons files used in Wikipedia

Description

At the moment, the file descriptions of images hosted on Wikimedia Commons are not shown in dewiki (example).

Seems to affect all the wikis. InstantCommons is broken even more, not even images work.

What can be done to unbreak all third party wikis which rely on Commons? Can we temporarily lift the redirect for that single endpoint?

I would create another ticket for that, this one is about fixing our own sites.
